1. Who we are
Nairobi Sculpt Aesthetic Centre is the data controller for personal information collected through this website and at our clinic. Our address is 4th Avenue Towers, 13th Floor, Fourth Ngong Ave, Nairobi. You can reach us on 0759 067388 or at info@nairobisculpt.co.ke.
If you book a consultation, we use your details to respond, schedule, and, where appropriate, prepare clinical records. Surgeons and authorised staff access only what they need to provide care and run the practice.
This policy covers the website, consultation and contact forms, telephone and WhatsApp enquiries, in-clinic registration, and related communications. It does not cover third-party websites that we may link to.
2. Information we collect
Identity and contact data: name, phone number, email address, and any message you send. Booking data: preferred surgeon, procedure of interest, and appointment notes. Technical data: IP address, browser type, device, and pages visited, where cookies or similar tools are used.
Health data may be collected when you request care. That can include medical history, medications, allergies, photographs, and treatment plans. Health information is sensitive. We collect it only where it is necessary for consultation, treatment, or legal record-keeping, and with your knowledge.
We may also keep records of calls, emails, and clinic visits, and limited payment or invoice details where a fee is charged. We do not ask children to submit personal data through the website.
3. How we use information
We use personal data to respond to enquiries, book and remind you of consultations, provide clinical care, keep accurate medical records, improve our website, and meet legal, professional, and insurance requirements.
Our legal bases include your consent (for example, when you submit a form or agree to marketing), performance of a contract or steps you request before a contract, our legitimate interests in running a safe clinic, and compliance with the law. For health data, we rely on your consent and on the need to provide healthcare, as allowed under Kenyan data protection law.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you.
4. Sharing, storage, and security
We share information only where needed: with the treating surgeon and clinical team, with laboratories or facilities involved in your care, with IT and hosting providers who support the website under contract, and with professional advisers or authorities where the law requires it.
Records are stored in Kenya or with carefully chosen processors who must protect them. We keep information for as long as needed for care, complaints handling, and legal or professional retention rules, then delete or securely archive it.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data, including restricted staff access and secure transmission where practicable. No online system is completely secure. Please use a private device when sending health details, and tell us promptly if you think your information has been misused.
5. Your rights
Subject to the Data Protection Act, 2019, you may request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion where we no longer need it, restriction of processing, and objection to certain uses, including direct marketing. You may also withdraw consent where consent is the basis we rely on. Withdrawal does not affect care already given or records we must keep by law.
To exercise these rights, email info@nairobisculpt.co.ke or write to us at the clinic address, with enough detail for us to identify you. We may need to verify your identity before responding. You may also complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner in Kenya if you are not satisfied.
If we hold clinical photographs or notes, some requests may be limited where disclosure would affect the rights of others or our legal duties. We will explain if that applies.
6. Cookies, changes, and contact
The website may use essential cookies to function and optional analytics cookies to understand how pages are used. You can control cookies in your browser. Blocking some cookies may affect site features. We do not use cookies to sell advertising profiles about you.
We may update this Privacy Policy when our practices or the law change. The date at the top of this page is the latest version. Material changes will be reflected here. Please review the policy from time to time if you use the site regularly.
