Scar and wound care at Dr. Mukami's practice treats raised, thickened, or uncomfortable scars, including keloids that are common in darker skin. Treatment is chosen for the scar's size, location, and how the skin heals.

Care covers keloids, hypertrophic scars, scar revision, and wound care. Plans may combine surgery with other treatment so the scar is smaller, flatter, and less troublesome.
